Is there anyone in the Club with either knowledge of Japanese or contact with a Japanese Honda garage/dealer (or both) who could research details of parts common to the Steppy and other Honda cars?
This could make it easier to source 'bits' as one could go to a garage and ask for (for example) headlamps for whatever other vehicle used the same ones. I think the instrument cluster is common to the first CR-V and possibly the early Civic.

A good idea :D - but where to start :o - we need someone to get friendly with a Honda bloke. Now my brother-in-law might be able to help as he is working for a Honda dealer .. but in Canada  so a bit of a stretch as the Stepwagon is not sold in Canada and he works in the ATV / Motorcycle division. If their databases cover global vehicles that might help .. I will check with him. :?:

My local Honda dealer (Rowes) came up with the following information recently -

Rear discs
Rear calipers
Outer CV boots.
Are related to the Honda Shuttle of the same year.

Front hub bearings
Front calipers
Are related to the Honda Prelude of the same year.

Rear pads
Are related to the Honda Legend of the same year.

They could not find other cross-references on brakes or suspension.

Hope this is helpful.

Front pads the same. Don't yet know about the rear.
