Hi,

A couple of seat-related questions! We don't have a Stepwagon yet, so can't try it for ourselves!

- Can the front seats be used as part of the bed? ie. will they lie completely flat, and be more-or-less the same height as the middle seats, without overlapping them?

- Is it possible to tell from photos of the middle seats, taken from the sliding door, whether they're the turnaround type?

According to the handbook, the front seats will recline to add to the bed.

The middle seats which tip forward and slide are only two seats side by side - the rotating seats have a single bench and a small collapsible seat by the door - fairly obvious in photos.

The rear seats fold flattish - a good airbed ontop will minimise the bumps and seatbelt parts digging in!

I thought that if the front seats were reclined in the fully forward position and the headrests removed, they flopped back into line with the 'turnaround' centre seats (1999 RF2) - the handbook shows that this should happen.
