1996 Stepwagon. 80,000 miles. For two of us the wrong side of 35. No previous. Off-road parking. Cat 2 immobiliser. £270 through 2g (knowledgeable and efficient - recommended by the garage we bought the little beauty from and the club). We thought this was fair, the brokers we have been with for years did their best, but were expensive and the restrictions too much to bear with high excess on everything and no courtesy car ("you could wait weeks for parts to get it fixed"). That's the price you pay for people who don't understand the vehicle. Best to go with someone who does.

I'm in similar situation, but 2G quoted nearly £600! Not taken up - went to Tett Hamilton.
