2WD or 4WD

Postby dicentrarchuslabrax » Wed Nov 19, 2008 11:15 pm

Hi, i am thinking of buying a Stepwagon for camping, does anyone know of any disadvantages or advantages for 2WD or 4WD, extra maintenance costs or an increase in fuel consumption, what about insurance quotes.
Regards

Hi :)

2WD vs 4WD

2WD will give slightly better mpg, 4WD will give better traction, particularly in the wet or on softer surfaces.

That's about it!

Insurance isn't affected ... give the Club's preferred broker a call for more info ...
