Hi could anyone tell me what type of brake pads do i need for a 1996 model (front and rear) ( my local supplier cannot even find the vehicle)

Apparently Honda CRV parts are similar .. you might want to buy some (with agreement to return if they don't fit) and see if they fit - compare once you have removed the pads from your stepwagon and if they don't then measure them and pop down to your local car parts shop and see what they can do to help.

Also known as "suck and see" :lol:

just go to your honda deler with chassie number and all parts can be obtained normally within to days and not a bad price .allso look on ebay lots of parts for sale on there including brake pads for the stepwagon :D

hi there i had to get some for the rear and they matched them up to a honda shuttle at my local car spares shop i intend to do the front soon so ill update as soon as its done if you havent already done it by then

I have a RF1 and mine use`s Prelude pads, i`m in the motor trade and got them over the counter just by giving my reg number,which is the norm for any motor factor nowadays :D

I have an RF1 and have recently replaced my F pads, got them from Central Auto Supplies outlet in Northampton they had them in stock. EBC brakes have them also. A lot cheaper than Honda, they wanted £54 F and £48 R :shock: . Full set from CAS was £42 :P . made by Delphi, part nos LP872 Rear and LP1507 Front. God what a spotter :geek: :lol:
