I got that manual recently off the web, but I found it very difficult to follow as it gives all CR-V models from 1996 to 2000, US and UK.
Sorting the wheat from the chaff was very time-consuming.

I have discovered a Circuit diagram for the Gauge assembly for the 1998 Stepwgn - in the Supplementary Shop Manual.
If this is of any use, I'll try to copy it and put it in a post!

I've tried to get the gauges wiring/current path diagram (1998) on to the forum, but cannot find out how to do it.
If anyone wants it I could do a direct e-mail with it as an attachment.

I don't think it's possible to post images directly to the forum. What you have to do is put them somewhere like DropBox or SkyDrive and post the link.
