As a comparative newbie on the site, I'm probably preaching to the converted, BUT perhaps not many have had to replace the Steppy's battery.
Mine died (but not bad - manufactured in 2003), so I researched the type in the handbook - quotes 35 ampere-hour (equivalent to 330 amps starting current) - went to Halfords - the CR-V batteries are quoted as HB 057, 35 AH for all petrol CR-Vs.
They had none in stock, so I went to an auto-factor in St Austell, who found the Yuasa 057 battery (same size ands shape) was 45AH - a bit more welly!
Unfortunately, the terminal pillars were 22-23mm diameter and would not fit - the clamps were too small.
On returning the battery, the staff found the Yuasa 156, again 45 AH and same dimensions, but it has the thinner 12mm terminals for Japanese cars.
It's worth checking the terminals before purchasing the new one!
Actually dead easy to fit.
Hope this is helpful.
