I have just bought a 1997 2.00lit petrol Auto,
Whare do i get a Workshop manual in English .
sorry if this a daft ?

I do not know of any workshop manual ... there is a general handbook in English - see details here

Workshop manual - try <http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/CR-V/> - this is a PDF. file, and is complex, as it seems to be for the US version and the Canadian version of the CR-V - all dates from 1996 to 2000, but at least it's free. You'll have fun finding your 'bits' but you can print the pages individually with 'Word'.
The engine is the same, and much of the mechanicals is also.

hi Alan and welcome ,there is a guy on e- bay who does manuals i got one and i think it was about £19.00 might be worth a look good luck roger
