Hi

Two new members in one day! Welcome to you and James11.

I've no experience of centre seats as mine is a camper conversion, but there was this thread last year which may help viewtopic.php?f=7&t=220&p=353#p353

Regards

Yes, welcome.

I see you report solving the middle seat 'problem'.

You can do the same with the front seats as well - remove the head-rests, move the seats right forward and recline them - gives a full length flat(tish) surface.

Yes its dead easy just pull the cord up and turn it! just make sure the front seats are forward a bit to give space.

You mention 'sorting' the insurance - many of us have had difficult experiences, so would like to hear who you finish up with.

I recently got mine through Admiral multicar policy, we also have a ford focus - the Stepwagon came in at £470 fully comp - limited to 8000 miles. I thought that was Ok but not great, I couldn't be bothered shopping around, as they changed it straight over from my previous car. Might look about next year but they have done a good deal on my focus so might lose out if I take the Stepwagon elsewhere.

I couldn't get Admiral to quote me - I used what was Tett-Hamilton - now Mark Richards - they gave me Groupama who quoted 576.00 as a renewal but the firm reduced that to 475.00 (a 40% increase over last year - the French division of Groupama would have put on a 4% increase!!!)
