RF3/4 rear spoiler

RF3/4 rear spoiler

Postby PARR » Sat Jun 07, 2014 12:50 pm

Hi All,
Does anyone know how the rear door mounted spoiler is fitted to the RF3/4?
My new 2002 one (not yet collected) has one, and I might want to remove it if it can be done without damage!

Hi David

Sorry I can't help you. My RF3 doesn't have one.

Brian,

Thanks.

Do you know about the front spoiler? I know the RF1/2"s were just bolted on rather than being moulded in one piece with the front bumper.

David.

Sorry David but I can't help you there either. I only answered to let you know that there's someone other than you still reading the forum.

Best wishes

They might not have anything to say 'at this time'.

I think these are bolted on and maybe there is a pop off cover over the bolts.

Did you check already?

I like the rear window spoiler as it can include a 3rd brake light - ours does not have one. :(

Many thanks, Vantastic - sorry for the delay - several outside influences at work!
After getting the RF4 I found that, as you say, the rear spoiler is bolted on - it does have a rear light in it, so removing it would be silly (and leave holes in the bodywork) - it did not have a reversing mirror as it has a camera.
