What size of alloy wheel do i need

Hi, I have a 2001 RF3 Stepwagon. It has 15" steel wheels, the current wheel trims look poor, and needs lots of cable ties to hold them on, so I would like to fit a basic set of alloy wheels.

Most websites don't list the stepwagon, so can someone please tell me what size i need, and where i am best to go to get some. Also will my current tyres fit alloys, or will i also have to buy new tyres?

Many thanks

Jane

Hi Jane

Have a read of this thread (see link below) It really needs moving into this section. We still have steelies on ours but this is to avoid costly alloy damage as one of us is not so good at parking (no confessions here!)

This should tell you all you need to know but ask if it doesn't!

Cheers

Lewis :D

PS Welcome to the RF3 club - ours is a 2002 model which we love. It is still in 8 seat mode, not a camper conversion, as we need ... the seats!

Hi Jane

I've just had a look at the tyres on the alloys on my 2001 RF3 and they're 195/65R15.

I bought some generic Honda locking wheel nuts on ebay (not that my alloys look worth stealing).

Alloy wheels for stepwgn would be "5 1/2 JJ 15", tyres 195/65 15
Worth getting the Stepwgn handbook from the shop - gives you most of what is needed.
